BUY THE OREGON COAST

See the property. Understand the property.

Buying here can mean evaluating far more than bedrooms, baths and a view.

01

Coastal exposure

Salt, wind, moisture and driving rain can affect roofs, siding, decks, fasteners, windows and maintenance cycles.

02

Water + drainage

Topography and how water moves around a property deserve attention — especially on slopes, low areas and sites with significant rainfall.

03

Condos + HOAs

Reserves, assessments, rental restrictions, insurance and shared building maintenance can matter as much as the unit itself.

04

Rental potential

Zoning, permits and local rules are location-specific. “It was rented before” is not the same thing as verified future eligibility.

05

Insurance

Coastal location, condition, flood exposure and building type can affect availability and cost. Get answers early.

06

Future maintenance

A beautiful view can come with an ownership rhythm. Understanding that rhythm before closing is part of making a good decision.

MY ROLE

I notice questions worth asking.

My construction background gives me another lens when walking a property. It does not replace inspectors, engineers, contractors, attorneys or other specialists; it helps me notice conditions and questions that may deserve more investigation.

My job is to help you build enough context to make your own informed decision — not to sell you on every property we walk into.

Start a buyer conversation

A SIMPLE PROCESS

Search slower. Decide better.

01Define the life

What are you actually trying to do here — live full-time, escape on weekends, relocate, rent, retire?

02Build context

Price, area, property type, financing and the practical realities of coastal ownership.

03Look critically

Tour properties with both the emotional and physical reality in view.

04Investigate

Inspection, documents, title, HOA, zoning, insurance and specialists where needed.

05Close clearly

Know what you're agreeing to and what happens next.
